    Bird Rescue Camp Event

Every year on January 13th, 14th, and 15th, Just Call Charitable Trust organizes the Bird Rescue Camp at Harinagar Cross Road, Harinagar, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Since 2016, we have been dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating birds injured during the Kite Festival. Additionally, our rescue efforts continue throughout the year, providing support and care for injured birds 365 days a year.

The Kite Festival is a time of celebration, but it often leads to numerous birds getting injured by the flying kites and strings. Our mission is to save these birds, provide them with the necessary medical treatment, and care for them until they are strong enough to fly again.

    What We Do:

    Medical Treatment:

At our camp, we have a dedicated veterinary team that provides immediate medical attention to injured birds. Our facilities are equipped to handle a variety of injuries, from minor wounds to more severe traumas.

    Rescue Operations:

Our team of volunteers is stationed at various points in Vadodara to promptly respond to reports of injured birds. We use safe and humane methods to rescue birds from dangerous situations.

    Rehabilitation:

After receiving medical treatment, birds are kept in a safe and nurturing environment where they can recover. We ensure they have ample food, water, and rest until they regain their strength.

    Release:

Once the birds are fully recovered, we release them back into their natural habitats. Our goal is to see them soar high again, free and healthy.

    Birds We Save:

    • Pigeons: The most commonly injured birds during the Kite Festival.
    • Owls: These nocturnal birds often get entangled in kite strings.
    • Eagles: Majestic eagles sometimes fall victim to kite strings and require careful handling.
    • Sparrows: Small but significant, sparrows are among the birds we rescue.
    • Other Birds: We also save a variety of other birds that get injured during the festival.

    Join Us:

We welcome volunteers and donors to join us in our efforts to save and protect our feathered friends. Your support can make a huge difference in ensuring that these birds receive the care they need. Join us in our mission to rescue, treat, and release birds back into the wild.
